Katie Crites

Katie Crites, Licensed Massage Therapist

Katie’s clinical approach to bodywork emphasizes collaboration to support recovery, reduce pain, and enhance functional movement. She integrates a range of therapeutic techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, neuromuscular, trigger point, myofascial, and integrative massage, as well as cupping, prenatal, and seated massage. She customizes each session to address the unique needs of her clients—whether the goal is to increase range of motion, decrease muscle tension, or promote relaxation during rehabilitation.

Before entering the field of massage therapy, Katie spent eight years running a whitewater kayaking non-profit and training as a professional freestyle kayaker. Her firsthand experience with injury recovery and physical conditioning gives her a unique understanding of how the body responds to stress, movement, and healing.

Katie’s philosophy blends evidence-based bodywork with a compassionate, client-centered approach—helping people reconnect with their bodies, improve performance, and restore balance to daily life.
