Dr. Osama Kassab MS, ATC, PES

Dr. Osama, a Colorado native, is living in Colorado again for the first time in over five years. After completing his undergraduate degree at Colorado Mesa University in Athletic Training in December of 2001, he had the opportunity to work at the University of Denver as an intern athletic trainer while sitting for his national licensing exam. Dr. Osama gained invaluable division one collegiate experience working with the highly respected Denver Pioneers sports programs. His primary sports were Men’s soccer, Women’s Lacrosse and working as an assistant with the Men’s hockey program. After completing a one-year internship, Dr. Osama attended graduate school at Colorado State University in the Health and Exercise Science department. While completing his Masters of Science in Exercise Science, he worked as a graduate assistant with campus recreation creating the first Club Sports Athletic Training program where students could get hands-on field training in the recognition and care of sports injuries. He also taught classes and seminars on sports rehabilitation, taping, diagnosis and physiology.

After graduating from Colorado State in 2005, Osama began working for the esteemed physical therapy group at Steadman Hawkins’ Clinic – Denver, in Greenwood Village, CO. It was during his time with Steadman Hawkins that Osama was recruited to work in professional sports here in Colorado with his first professional hockey team the Rocky Mountain Rage in Broomfield, CO. After eight years in professional hockey and basketball, Dr. Osama decided to explore new options for his career and his family. He wanted to take his existing skill set and become a provider to a larger, more diverse population. Through the recommendations of multiple mentors and team physicians who thought his abilities as an athletic trainer would help him excel in Chiropractic, he decided to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic College – West in San Jose, California.

The addition of spinal manipulation and adjustment techniques to his skill set,  Dr. Osama is a well-rounded provider. He is skilled in a variety of techniques enabling him to adapt to a variety of patient needs. These include Diversified, Thompson, Logan, SOT, Traction and Activator.  He also utilizes adjunct therapies such as myofascial release, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, LED and therapeutic or corrective exercises.

From Dr. Osama’s time in hockey, he has a specialized interest in concussions, chiropractic care, and associated rehabilitation. He is constantly searching for new data and articles related to advancing the quality of concussion care for all age groups and activities.

Away from the clinic Dr. Osama enjoys being outdoors hiking, road biking, snowboarding or snow shoeing. He loves spending time with his wife Tiffany, their two children, and their dog Cash Monkey.
